Redundant by design
Every critical system has a backup, and most have two.
Batteries: two independent 15kWh banks, each with its own inverter . If one needs attention, the other takes over in under a second. The display stays on; the lights hold.
Wind: two complete turbines on separate masts. If one is damaged, the other keeps generating at full output.
Solar: every panel in the 360° vertical ring is isolated. A broken panel doesn't stop the rest, and a spare swaps in with plug-in connectors.
Lighting: its own dedicated solar panel and battery , independent of everything else.
Water: 16 independently isolatable bays. A leak is shut off automatically and costs at most about 6%.
Cooling: fan first, then one compressor unit, then two: three tiers, two mechanisms.
Exits: a top hatch and a base escape hatch.
Control: a 40-inch display , a backup tablet and voice. Three ways to reach EVA.
