How it compares
Designer composite (GRP) pods have raised the bar for how a small habitat can look. But look past the shell and the gap is in the numbers: stored energy, water , structure and what happens when conditions turn.
The Stasis Capsule is heavy, solid and robust, yet it deploys in minutes. No other product in this space combines the two. With a triple zoned steel construction, the design is a space-age aesthetic with Victorian mechanical assurance - designed to last.
Power
30kWh for one person.
Two isolated 15kWh battery banks, each with its own inverter , changing over in under a second.
Dual marine wind turbines, each independently controlled, retracted by the AI ahead of forecast extremes.
A 360° vertical solar ring that captures diffuse light from every direction.
A separate solar-powered lighting circuit that stays on whatever else happens.
The battery is fuller when you return than when you left.
Water
Fill from any source within reach. Drink from the tap.
16 independently isolatable bays. Losing one costs at most about 6% of capacity . The whole top surf ace is a 3.46m² rain catchment.
Four-stage treatment: first-flush diverter , stainless mesh, carbon cartridge, UV-C sterilisation. One consumable in the entire system: a standard filter cartridge, replaced every 3–6 months.
Transports light (200L) and fills on arrival with the onboard pump in about an hour .
