THE CAPSULE Autonomy - the loop that doesn't end

Power and water replenish. Food lasts a year.

In most global climates, the capsule produces more than it uses:

Power: wind and solar generation exceed a full lived-in day's consumption by 1.5–5× across temperate, Mediterranean and cold climates.

Water: up to 930 litres in the structural void. One moderate rain day harvests around 35 litres, enough for 7–10 days, filtered and UV-sterilised to drinking standard.

Heat: at −15°C, the envelope loses roughly the output of two old household light bulbs. The batteries' own waste heat helps cover it.

Food: 365 days of provisions, carried in the cockpit.

The 30kWh battery isn't the operating budget. It's the reserve for the rare still, dark spell.

Fill once. The system manages the rest. That is what autonomous actually means.
